I know that insert is broken, and it really sucks, as for manual correcting it's key. Is there any chance it will be fixed soon?
also, it used to be that selecting series of cells, and hitting delete cleared them, now I must select an empty cell, copy it and paste it over full cells.
Is there a new hotkey for deleting information other than delete?

Hilighting multiple cells and ctrl+delete crashes Java
I ran multi monitors for a while, but have since switched back to only one, jaikos remembers it's window position based on something I don't know. SO if you disable one monitor you can no longer get to it, or reposition the window to the remaining monitor. Having sold my monitor I'm in a rather frustrating position, it will open to the monitor that doesn't exist.
No other program does this, so it's not a system issue.
I'm running Windows 7 with latest updates on a Q6600 proc, and Asus mobo.
Nvidia 8800 GTX is the video card.

I couldn't figure out a work around, so if that could be fixed in a later release that would be sweet, I like Jaikos a lot.

I can't even uninstall and reinstall, since the uninstaller does the same thing.
The last time I was using Jaikos, I could click a box, and start typing and it would replace the text within it, this is what I used for correcting track #'s when I wanted to stay consistent. Now I need to double click, then delete the text manually then type. if I just type it appends what I type to the end of whatever is already in the cell. How can I make it act the other way again?

I've turned on all the itunes update features, when it moves and adds, they are doubled, what can cause this?
EDIT: solved myself, need to disable itunes organizing folder.
Did discover a funny problem, I've tried this with itunes turned off, turned on but not doing anything, and turned on while updating ipod/playing. If I have it set to update itunes but not to create a playlist(I save frequently, it doesn't create and update one playlist, but a new list every save) it will always pop up the warning itunes is busy, please do not use itunes while updating, however the update still works fine
Thanks
UPDATE: Not fixed, just added a bunch of music, clicked to sort by album. Still doing alphabetical title as the secondary sort.
That was fast! Thank you so much for the quick support
Sorry to jump on the bandwagon of issues, but this is a very frustrating issue for usability. It used to be that when you sorted by album, the secondary sorting was done by track#, making it easy to sort and organize that. Now it sorts alphabetically by track title as the sort within album, which is not useful at all.
attached them here now
No to the first question, yes to the 2nd.
Any updates?
I sent it to support@... as requested.

Where might I find the files you want?
Right now I removed the -jmax to see if that was causing it, so I'm running it without increased memory, still I am used to it getting to at least 5000 without issue even without the extra memory.

I have my renaming mask set to %trackno%-%artist%-%title%
because my songs filenames in the set I'm sorting go 01-artist-title
the folder is the album.
It gets the album from the metatags I guess so that is not too important(although I'd like to know how to set it to correct from the folder they are in for album)
but the artist stays blank, even if I right click and choose correct tags from filenames.

Also when using save and move for some reason instead of going to last folder saved in, it goes at least one level up, and sometimes right back to the full list of drives in my PC. no rhyme or reason to which it does when however.
However if I create a folder within the folder it will save there every time
(D:/foldername will always bump me back to just D:\ on the next save and move if it doesn't send me back to the main folder tree. but D:\foldername\foldername will save there everytime.)
Is there any setting I can change for that?
EDIT: Actually while I'm on here bothering you, there are two features I'd love to see
#1 is a hotkey(ctrl+m maybe?) for save and move.
#2 is the ability to see the local file, so I can check for artwork, hand correct names etc since it doesn't seem to do it on auto 100% of the time.

Seems very strange, I just did a fresh install of jaikos into a new install of xp SP3. Plenty of ram and processor now(4gb+quadcore intel)
I put in my license key.
I've tried rebooting, and I tried setting the memory available to jaikos to one gb(-jmax...)
nothing works to get it to stop doing that, it's not the specific songs, because it does it on any set of folders.
EDIT: I have the corect version of java as well
java -version
java version "1.6.0_13"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_13-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 11.3-b02, mixed mode, sharing)
Also, if I do manage to get it working, is there any way I can get it to use more of my processor/ram? it loads very slowly but is using around 5% of one core only as far as I can tell.

Is there any way to import my settings, I installed my OS on a new HD(still have the old one)
I would like to make my naming settings etc all the same still so that I have a consistent library.
TIA
I just realized that all my Mp3's have had sort: applied, rather haphazardly from musicbrainz(Since not everyone agrees on how it should be sorted apparently) some of the tracks have firstname lastname, some are lastname, firstname for the same artist. And so on. Is there any way I could delete all of the sort data quickly so Itunes etc will sort by the artist name the way it is written?

Thanks

I'm just wondering if it would be possible to sort by track # as a second choice, like for example when I have album sort selected, it would make life much easier for manual editing, right now the second choice for sorting is title alphabetical, which is not so useful when sorting by album or artist.

I was also wondering if perhaps there could be a overwrite rename skip prompt instead of just an error popup when attempting to save files when there is already one with the same name. Often I find that if I'm trying to save a file over top of an earlier one it's because I've got a better version done now.
Since it only shows the first 30 errors, finding all of them by hand is impossible and time consuming to even try.

Those are the two I'm most interested in seeing, another which I'm wondering about although not as important IMO is being able to directly open the file in explorer, that would be helpful if Jaikos can't find anything, sometimes by hearing it I can guess.
