Do you have anything setup unusual in your Windows settings regarding the WIndows display or look you are using ?

Sorry, something broken in the latest release, fixing it now should be resolved within a few hours.
Hmm. in trying to fix one thing I seem to have broken Jaikoz for brand new installations, I'll get a fixed release out soon.
Have you tried just leaving it alone for 10 minutes, it can take a while on first startup to setup the database.
Ive changed something that may have been the cause of this problem, please try newly released Jaikoz 4.5.6
New version released that fixes some issues with matching and with starting Jaikoz.

Hmm I don't understand why you are getting this, and note Im not having any problems with Java 7 either.

All I can suggest is you:
Delete c:\Users\username\Jaikoz (not just the contents)
Restart Jaikoz

This would happen if either you lost your internet connection or if Musicbrainz was down/overloaded so that 10 consecutive retries by Jaikoz failed. Restarting Jaikoz will clear the issue if Musicbrainz/Internet working again.

Why dont you load the iTunes library into Jaikoz and use the Delete Duplicates.
