Welcome to the website of JThink Ltd. JThink is a company created by Paul Taylor and is based in the United Kingdom. I have nearly fifteen years' experience in the software industry, working with many companies including global companies such as IBM and HSBC.

My priority is to provide high quality, useful software at a fair price. JThink software is Java based so it can be used on most operating systems and it is available at a low cost or free with free upgrades and support. JThink is based on solo design/development which means that unlike conventional development techniques used in larger commercial projects, there is no development team, and therefore no time spent in meetings and coordination, the designer is the implementor. The most important result is that there are no messy compromises in the design. It's a high-risk approach to software development, but when it works, the result are high levels of productivity, responsiveness to new requirements, and software quality. As a solo developer I am also able to be highly responsive to the specific needs of customers, and adapt products to a customers specific requirements.

Currently there is one application available

Jaikoz is a powerful Audio Tagger application, currently supports Mp3, Mp4 and oggVorbis. It is suitable for both customers organising their music collections and independent artists/performers wishing to make their recordings available online. Enhancing the performance and capabilities of the Jaikoz Tag Editor is a continuous process and the Jaikoz Discussion Forum provides customers with a platform to post ideas and suggestions, customers benefit from direct access to myself and receive unlimited email support. I also allocate a few days each month to customize Jaikoz at competitive rates for customers with a specific requirement that falls outside my current development priorities.

Jaudiotagger is an multi format tag editing library that is licensed under the Lesser General Public License. In essence this means that it can be used in any application but if you improve or modify the library those modifications should be freely available, this is an opensource project that everybody is welcome to get involved with. brainz-jaxb-mmd is a set of Java Bind (JAXB) classes for easily parsing the results from the Musicbrainz Xml WebService into a Java application, the classes are generated automatically from the Musicbrainz Schema
